How did you first become involved in the music business? I was playing bass guitar in a band and was the guy in band who kind of organised what we were doing. That was my first exposure to thinking about it like a business!
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? Managing artists, running festivals, concert promotion/marketing, venue and festival booking are the main things I'm involved in. I've been simultaneously doing all of these for five years or so.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? Venue bookings and artist management.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? Meeting new people in the industry and catching up with people who I regularly work with. Being from Adelaide means we don't get to see the broader industry all that often!
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? I feel like there's so much I don't know still, that it's hard to narrow down to just one question!
