How did you first become involved in the music business? I played and toured in bands and as a DJ, I worked in record stores and eventually focused on management and getting good at it. I've no formal training, just a really outspoken gut.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? I wear a lot of hats at Mucho Bravado - boss, business owner, artist manager, publicist, event programmer, venue booking, friend, pseudo-psychologist. I've been here for 10 years now, working with some incredible people.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? I'm sure I will get a chance to rant about anything music-related really, business, pleasure or otherwise. And I do love to talk.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? I like to inspire, it's why I do this. I hope to reach a few aspiring managers or industry professionals and help them forward, even a step or two, towards some of their goals.
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? Oh man, there are so many? How *does* it all work? Really?
