EXCLUSIVE: The Lighthouse & The Whaler - Mont Royal

Cleveland, Ohio-bred indie-rock outfit The Lighthouse & The Whaler have just had a local release for their third studio album, Mont Royal, Down Under via the good folk at Smack Face Records, and The Music is stoked to be hosting the Oz premiere stream of the album in full today.

Coming three years after acclaimed second effort This Is An Adventure, Mont Royal finds the four-piece in continued fine form, having further honed their genre-transcending, folk-stained indie-rock stylings to next-level glory for this turn at bat.

The band have freshly commenced a US tour in earnest after dipping their toes in the water with a show in Cleveland back in August, and they'll now be on the road through till October — plenty of time for you to spend some evenings getting to know Mont Royal intimately and get prepared should the band stump up with some Australian tour dates to boot any time in the near future.
