Sydney indie duo Tear Council have come out with the video for their newest single, My Car, with theMusic.com.au exclusively hosting the premiere today.
The video harks back to the muted colours and low-fi filming of a '70s action-movie, featuring a host of vintage hot rods and muscle cars, diners and old-school car workshops, all clips from movies such as Vanishing Point, Repo Man and The Driver. The song is an ethereal, nostalgic cut and funnily enough, would be a great song to listen to while driving off into the night.
Tear Council are made up of Matt Van Schie (of Van She) and Michael Di Francesco (Touch Sensitive), the two recently reaping the rewards of a killer debut single, Anywhere.
The band aren't on tour at the moment but just played a Vivid LIVE showcase for Personal Best Records with MLHLND and Physique.
