Exclusive: FRANCO lay down some serious grooves in the latest Half Way Sessions
An exciting new project shows off their wares..
As you hopefully know by now, The Half Way Sessions is a unique series brought to you by the team at Half Way Records, recording tracks to tape with a process that's 100% analog and documenting the day on video. With producer Luke Yeoward on the desk and director Agostino Soldati capturing the intensity, they've so far filmed sessions with Press Club, PAGAN, Ezra Lee and BIRDCLOUD, and today we're excited to bring you episode 5 with FRANCO.
FRANCO is the teaming up of revered Aussie producer Plutonic Lab and vocalist Natalie Slade to form a killer two-person combo that delves into funk-laden jams, erring on the side of old school hip hop with a bit of jazz thrown in, all underpinned with some serious groove. They've been working away on a debut EP for a while now, so consider this a rad little introduction before new music arrives next Friday 30 November in the form of debut single It's All On You.
