Education Guide: Navitas College of Public Safety

Navitas College of Public Safety graduate Amanda* always knew she was interested in the criminal justice field.

In 2010 Amanda enrolled to study the Bachelor Of Criminology And Justice degree with Navitas College Of Public Safety and has never looked back. “I chose NCPS because of the smaller class sizes, being able to complete my degree in two years, and having a university dedicated wholly to my field of interest,” said Amanda. “The educators at NCPS are fantastic! Most actively work or have previously worked in the field they lecture, which means they are more knowledgeable of their topics. They are also very devoted to teaching and engaging in discussion with students; instead of just speaking at me, they spoke with me, which really helped my learning.”

Amanda is now a Constable with the Victorian Police force. “My studies at NCPS provided me with a great basis of knowledge that I have used in the course of my career. I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in myself at having committed to study and completing it. Studying at NCPS taught me to work hard and gave me a richer understanding of the field I am passionate about.”
