The B.East, Melbourne Hot Sauce and Changz Hot Sauce come together on 20 Feb to put on Melbourne's official Chilly Eating Championship 2016.
Two heats will see 25 victims sampling chillis like jalapeno, fresh red habanero, fresh ghost chilli and the Carolina Reaper until one winner's left sweating. No napkins, but a spew bucket is provided. First prize is $250 cash, $100 B.East vouchers and a sweet hot sauce prize pack.
The event will be hosted by YETI of The B.East's Heavy Metal Trivia, Richard from Melbourne Hot Sauce and Josh from Changz, who will be dishing out chilli facts and taunting the competitors.
Punters watching the action can get on The B.East's chilli menu, all-day booze specials, and hot sauce tastings. There will also be merch for purchase, as well as a limited edition collab hot sauce between The B.East, Melbourne Hot Sauce and Changz Hot Sauce — there's only 100 bottles and they'll only be sold at the event.
Live tunes from The Davidson Brothers, DJ Johnny El Pajaro, Iaki Vallejo, and The Hits form Columbia will be soundtracking the spicy event.
