Have you been wondering where you can go to broaden your painting skills while drinking cocktails in a social environment?

Well, look no further. Cocktails And Canvas has relaunched in Moonee Ponds after a year-long revamp. Melinda Janiszewski is the woman behind the idea to hold an introductory painting class in a cocktail lounge. She considers it a kind of grown-up art therapy. The classes are led by local artists.

There are art-themed cocktails for you to sip on while you paint — The Scream (Midori, pineapple and lime), Mona Lychee Martini (vodka, lychee, fresh mint and limes, elderflower and soda water), Express Yourself Martini (vodka, coffee liqueur, white creme de cacao, espresso coffee), Chocolate Affair (choc-hazelnut coffee liqueurs and thickened cream), and frozen cocktails in various flavours (strawberry daiquiri, mango daiquiri, pina colada).
