Answered by: Ben Crick – Owner

Opening hours during BIGSOUND: 11.30am–late daily

What dish from your menu would you recommend to BIGSOUND-goers?

Kassler cutlets served with chips and potato salad.

Do you have any functions rooms or spaces that would suit groups?

We have a 40-seat Biergarten in the rear. A great space to kick back and talk about bratwurst, biers and Australian music.

What kind of specials do you offer? Will you have BIGSOUND deals? Wednesday is Schnitzel Day in the Haus. Only $9.90 with salad and chips.

What kind of drinks do you have, and what would you recommend?

Only the best imported German Biers. We have a range of nearly 30.

What makes your establishment stand out from the rest around the BIGSOUND venues?

On Wednesday night we have the first heat of our annual Quoits championship. It’s free to enter and the winner gets free sausages for a year and their name on the shield. Final is 1 October.

Which BIGSOUND artist or speaker would you love to serve?

Paul Piticco would be served the biggest Cheese Kranski we have, served with mustard, sauerkraut and a one-litre mug of bier.
