Short description of your band and your music: #deep

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? No, just a lot of shit chat.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Probably signing with Future Classic, which has given me the chance to play with some of my favourite artists, like Lapalux, Shlohmo and Nicolas Jaar.

Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? Artistic. No money in music m8! 

Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? Both I hope.

If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? Floating Points. He's been a favourite of mine for a long, long time and it would be amazing to pick his brain on tour. Clark would be cool too.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? Social media magic tricks.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? CLN, Donny Benét, Harvey Sutherland, Plenète, Rainbow Chan, Woodes, World Champion.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? For the first time I've got a graphic artist (Timothy Lovett) on board to come and do some amazing visuals while I play. We've worked really hard to match up the timing and feel of the performance.
