In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Our song The Woods was used in a TV show in the US and ended up being the most Shazamed song for that month. We also had Louis Tomlinson from One Direction tweet about us which was kinda crazy. Then recently we got to open for Tom Walker through Europe.
If you could give your younger self, starting out as a musician, a few words of wisdom, what would they be? Play and learn as much music as you can to understand how songs are written and just have fun with it.
Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? I feel like we have a unique sound that impacts people. Plus we just like to have fun with it.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? We're always looking to learn and grow so we'll be going with open eyes and ears and just trying to learn as much as we can while we are there.
What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? I feel like there's a lack of radio stations that support up-and-coming artists. Especially in certain genres. If you're not supported by triple j it's hard to really grow with new opportunities because they run the majority of the music scene in Australia.
What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? In Australia, the indie-rock/psychedelic rock scene seems to be pretty trendy at the moment.
When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? 4 Sep, Black Bear Lodge, 11.20pm; 5 Sep, Empire Hotel, 10.50pm.
