Position: Producer at Studios 301
How did you first become involved in the music business? My first involvement in the music industry was as a producer and DJ of Oz hip hop group Third Estate back in the early 2000s.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? My main areas of expertise are electronic music production and sound design. I've been making my own music for 15 years and been at Studios 301 for around four.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Australian Music Week? I'll be focusing on production in electronic music; how working with someone with more experienced can really help to level up your production without losing the initial sonic imprint that makes the music yours.
What do you hope to personally take away from Australian Music Week? I'm looking forward to hearing all the other talented people speak and learning from what their own experience brings to the table.
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? What's next..? With all the changes the industry has under taken in the last 15 years it feels like a brave new world of changes and possibilities.
