Romeo & Juliet, Tristan & Isolde, Garfield & lasagna — you can forget the lot of them, because there is a new greatest love story ever told — That's Amore, the tale of Mozzarella and her Parmigiano from local performer Annabella Dickson.
Dickson, an established Melbourne actor, belly and burlesque dancer, brings to life an epic journey of love with a performance of wild Neo-burlesque-style cabaret. It's the tale of Annabella Mozzarella (played by Dickson), a fiery Italian beauty, and the man that she falls head over heels in love with, the crazy good-looking Johnny Parmigiano (also played by Dickson), supported by a cast of superb dancers and actors.
Beginning in the amorous and scenic city of Napoli, the two young Italians fall hopelessly in love. Johnny, however, has a secret and alas, like all epic love stories, the pair are split asunder and their whirlwind romance cut down in its prime when Johnny must to move to... Coburg.
Despite everything will their love succeed? Will the problems of two little people amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world?
