ALBUM PREMIERE: The Good Minus - ‘The Good Minus’

There’s never a dull moment when it comes to all-singing, instrument-swapping power trio The Good Minus, as evident with their new self-titled LP.

Rich with vocal harmonies and multi-layered arrangements, the release breathes new life into angular prog pop.

“We all have diverse music tastes and our different personalities complement each other,” The Good Minus’ Matt Welch told The Music. 

“I’m sometimes too ‘slap dash’ with things and don’t perfect them, whereas Dave [Kean] is a perfectionist and Stu [Hazelman] is ‘the voice of reason’ somewhere in the middle."
