Perth indie-folk sextet Simone & Girlfunkle are delivering a new today Hold On, their first since 2013, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

Bolstered by their flawless three-part harmonies, the album is a cacophony of unique sounds threaded together with dreamy folk sensibilities.

Capped at a short and sweet, seven tracks the LP manages to encapsulate the band’s distinctive ethos, led by fierce first single Girls.

The album was mastered by ARIA award-winning engineer William Bowden who’s other works include the likes of Goyte and Emma Louise.

The album is slated for official release this Friday (23 March) and to celebrate, the band are hitting up Perth, Melbourne, Collingwood, Busselton and Bunbury for exclusive launch shows.
