Album title? Chords

Where did the title of your new album come from? It came from electricity and just thinkin' about titles for an album and I mentioned it to a few people and they all said "Don't do it, it's a shit title."

How many releases do you have now? Five albums - Blazey, Hummabyes, Big World, Dreaming Of A Night Mango & Chords. And a few other things.

How long did it take to write/record? A little while actually. Long enough for me to think I was making the greatest album of all time.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making?: The Chords album has been out long enough for me to look at it with a bit of hindsight. I got really wrapped up in my own reflection.

What's your favourite song on it? A few turned out pretty good. St Petersburg, but my favourite is The Rambler. 

Will you do anything differently next time? Just push on. Jason Pickering (Bumspa) said to me the other day "Never regret this album." I don't, but I want to do better again.

When and where is your launch/next gigs? 13 May, Charles Weston Hotel. What a joint! Two sets, so... digging deep...
