Album title? The Meltdown
Where did the title of your new album come from? The band name, which was a kind of attempt at an old soul band name, but from Melbourne - the Mel towns - The Meltdown.
How many releases do you have now? It's our debut full-length release, however, we have some singles out through HopeStreet Recordings, including Better Days from 2015.

How long did it take to write/record? We have played a number of the songs from the album for three years! But some of the songs were written super quickly in the weeks prior to recording the majority of the album.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The gigs we have played and the amazing musicians in the band are a constant inspiration. It seemed we were well overdue to release an album. We also received a Creative Victoria grant to record.
What's your favourite song on it? Darkness Into Light. The opening track. The song and Simon Burke's amazing vocal performance have some voodoo going on.
Will you do anything differently next time? Hindsight is a hell of a thing. It was pretty stressful trying to write three to four songs in as many weeks before the recording. Regardless, we're happy with the results.
