Album title? The Canvas Sea
Where did the title of your new album come from? The title comes from a line in the lyrics; "I will forever be a black mark on this canvas sea." It describes a feeling of numbness, isolation and dissociation felt while in a state of anxiety.
How many releases do you have now? The Canvas Sea is our first full-length album. We released a two-track EP titled Loss in 2017.

How long did it take to write/record? The songs were in early development when we released Loss in December 2015, we continued writing over ten months and finished the title track in the studio while recording the album in October 2016.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The songs became a conduit for channeling negative emotions. To capture a year's worth of personal experiences and observations and really leave ourselves exposed in the music was the main goal.
What's your favourite song on it? It always changes depending on my mood, but Corinthians is definitely a special one for me.
Will you do anything differently next time? I think we will push the 'live' aspects of the recording process even more next time, and find new ways to be creative while still capturing a raw/honest feel.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? 22 Sep, The Old Bar. We will be playing a double LP Launch with CASCADES.
