Album title? Cathedrals
Where did the title of your new album come from? From John Muir, an early explorer of the Sierra Nevada in California. "Between every two pines stood the door to the world's greatest cathedral."
How many releases do you have now? One demo (not available anymore). We then released a self-titled EP and Assembly EP. Cathedrals is our first album.

How long did it take to write/record? Some of the tracks are the first we wrote together four years ago and some are the most recent. Recording was spread out over about two years.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Many of the songs were written after my parents passed away in the Black Saturday bushfires. Putting them all together was an important process for me. It feels like we have done these songs justice.
What's your favourite song on it? It changes for me all the time! I'm going to say Young God at the moment.
Will you do anything differently next time? We needed to make this album slowly because it reflected the past four years of our lives, but it would be nice for the process to be quicker next time.
When and where is your launch/next gig? We are launching the album at Shadow Electric on 27 Nov.
