Album title? God Is Drunk In Charge
Where did the title of your new album come from? A line from the album opener, And God Wept The Ocean. If there is an Interventionist God, it often appears in our lives that he/she is indeed drunk in charge.
How many releases do you have now? This debut album; the Fluid Rules EP, including the single, If I Ever...; The Mountain Folk EP.

How long did it take to write/record? Written very quickly a few years back. Mainly recorded in the Adelaide Hills on steam-powered analogue gear and finished recently on the band's resurrection in the temperate rainforest of the Yarra Ranges Victoria.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? South Australian women and an unexpected bout of unrequited love. South Australian wines and all varieties of Coopers ale. An almost unhealthy Will Oldham obsession and only 16 tracks a song to play with.
What's your favourite song on it? And God Wept The Ocean. Can still take me to another world when we perform it, especially the mermaid section.
Will you do anything differently next time? Many things. The second album is more than half recorded so it will arrive far more hastily and unlike If I Ever... the single won't have famous swear words attached.
When and where is your launch/next gig? 29 Aug, The Treehouse, Byron Bay; 30 Aug, Junk Bar.
