Album title? Sooner Or Later

Where did the title of your new album come from? I decided to release this record independently and my due date was just Sooner Or Later. I released one half last year as a teaser called Sooner... This year came Later to complete the piece.

How many releases do you have now? Not counting the demos I did throughout my childhood, roughly three releases: The Ruckman Record, Born Again Humanist and this.

How long did it take to write/record? Two years, roughly. That was part of the concept: two years in the life with each song topic focusing on a specific verb, be it abstract, ironic or just straight literal.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Being uninspired actually inspired me. The record came from a place of monotony and become my strive from something greater.

What’s your favourite song on it? Cry was a last minute boy and it probably came out the best. It’s a real deep one about depression.

Will you do anything differently next time? Yeah, of course. Try and keep a job longer than three months so I can put a lot more money into production.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 23 May, 303, Northcote; 13 Jun, Grace Darling Hotel.
