Album title? Beyond the Melting Dawn

Where did the title of your new album come from?: It's part of a lyric in the second track, Your Heart Is But A Well. 

How many releases do you have now? Two full-length albums, my debut was called Lavender Prayers.

How long did it take to write/record? The songs were written sporadically over a few years and it was recorded, mixed and mastered in about 8 months.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I was listening to a lot of Cass McCombs at the time… and thinking about the inherent duality of the human soul — a kind of day and night within.

What's your favourite song on it? It depends on my mood. Probably one of the two singles I put out; Heaven or When the World Divides.

Will you do anything differently next time? My last two records took such a long time to make. The next one will hopefully be better planned and completed within a month or two.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Sunday 29th November at Goodtime Studios, Carlton.
