Album title: Intrusive Thoughts
Where did the title of your new album come from? Being our first album, we figured a cop-out would do. Plus the artwork was finished prior to even us discussing it. So it was just easier to leave it!
How many releases do you have now? This is our debut release. Prior to this it was the odd song here and there to test the waters.
How long did it take to write/record? We spent near 12 months writing and recording at Uncle Sam's place. Overall we wrote and recorded heaps of tracks, but cut the list down to the final 12 that you hear on the album.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? In the past 24+ months, Australian hip hop has had a huge expansion with everything being put out on social media. There's lots of good — and bad. We want to be part of the good.
What's your favourite song on it? Tough call... The four of us have different opinions. We enjoyed mixing it up with Too Far. Definitely stood out.
Will you do anything differently next time? Being our first release, we spent a huge deal of time figuring out how to release the album officially. Next release we wanna spend more time focusing on our music.
When and where is your launch/next gig? Our launch is 18 Sep at Babushka Bar.
