Album title? Contrasts
Where did the title of your new album come from? We just dug the word. For example, we all listen to a lot of different music that contrasts greatly with the music we actually make together.
How many releases do you have now? Don't Lose Touch album 2009, Split EP 2011, The Story Will Continue... EP 2013, Contrasts album 2016.
How long did it take to write/record? Approximately ten months, the procedure was on and off due to members in other bands, marriage, kids and study commitments.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The drums were recorded by Adam Round at Electric City studios, the rest was recorded in bedrooms and lounge rooms. A definite DIY feel to the whole procedure.
What's your favourite song on it? Lend A Hand and Mr Frothington
Will you do anything differently next time? Depends on our budget. If we have cash to burn then we'll experiment more with guitar tones and extra instrumentation. Whatever works for the song we are recording.
When and where is your launch/next gig? 22 Apr, Babushka. Doors at 8.
