Adelaide Fringe Festival Focus: Trip Fest

"An amazing night of psychedelic music and trippy lighting/video effects that will voyage further into the void of cosmic-melting moments."

Describe your show in a tweet: An amazing night of psychedelic music and trippy lighting/video effects that will voyage further into the void of cosmic-melting moments.

What was the inspiration behind your show? Gravy Train Promotions has felt there to be a missing gap for independent original/recording artists in the Fringe festival program. So to stage a large festival of five of Adelaide's premier psychedelic/stoner bands sounded like a great idea!

Tell us a bit about the creative team working on this project? We've been working on many events for the past four years, (notably the Deep South Roots, Blues & Folk festival and Gumbo Room) and also curating music/art exhibitions. We're all passionate about promoting the best artists SA has to offer.

What do you love about Fringe and why? The fact that there is an opportunity to approach events with the "anything goes" rule. Simply because artists and audiences alike find it as a time to take a "risk" to see, enjoy and experience something fun and different.

When and where is your Fringe show? 27 Feb, The Gov.
