Melbourne-via-the-world producer Air Max 97 has been busy lately. He chased up last year's incredible Progress & Memory EP with a totally mad release of bright, off-kilter club, Fruit Crush, featuring a new collaboration with grime producer Strict Face on the melodic, stripped-back grime hitter Armour Form. He's also been designing tee-shirts for himself and for ASSK Paris, was invited to do mixes for Nina Las Vegas' triple j show and the highly esteemed TRUANTS, and has had his tracks remixed for international compilations. Pile TV spent a day with Air Max 97 during his recent trip to Perth, grabbing a bite to eat at The Standard, having chats in AQWA, then heading to Vibe Merchants at The Good Shepherd Bar to see Air Max ‘97 in action.
