Music to me is about connecting with people and building a sense of community. I started playing live because I wanted to motivate and communicate the power of positive thinking and self love through music.
If you could support any band in the world - past or present - who would it be?:
I would love to support Lorde, for such a young woman she is so strong and grounded in her beliefs and I love her music of course! Florence is another powerful woman I'd love to support.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date?:
I felt like a real rock star at my last gig in Sydney… a whole bunch of young girls came running up to me after my show wanting autographs and I asked them to share their biggest dreams with me. It was a really beautiful experience.
Why should people come and see you play?:
My style is an eclectic mix of folk and indie with a powerful vocal. I'm excited to meet and connect with new people, because when I sing it's simply a conversation, I'm just the one initiating it.
