Hannah Gadsby To Premiere New Stand-Up Show In Sydney + Melbourne In 2024

Award-winning comedian Hannah Gadsby is gearing up to take the stage once again, premiering their latest stand-up show, Woof!

The much-anticipated comedy event is set to kick off at the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Sydney on March 7, before making its way to the 2024 Melbourne Comedy Festival starting March 28.

Following the seismic impact of her 2018 Netflix special, Nanette, Gadsby has been far from idle. The comedian has crisscrossed the globe with two solo stand-up shows, Douglas and Body of Work, entertaining audiences in the US, Australia, and Europe.

Venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Festival Hall, the Kennedy Centre, the London Palladium, and the Opera House at BAM have all played host to Gadsby's unique brand of humour.

Adding literary accomplishments to her repertoire, Gadsby's New York Times Best Selling Memoir, Ten Steps To Nanette, saw its release in 2022, promptly translated into more than ten languages.

Last year, Gadsby's third Netflix special, Something Special, showcased personal stories about their new marriage, interspersed with family anecdotes. Not content to rest on their laurels, this year theu has taken on the role of hosting and curating Netflix's first all-gender-queer multi-comic special (coming soon).

Accolades have not eluded Gadsby, who has secured an Emmy for Nanette, along with a Peabody and an AACTA Award.
