They’re convinced to stay for a couple more songs, treating us to a very different rendition of Kraftwerk’s The Model and a very faithful version of Dick Dale’s Miserlou – such a fittingly Californian way to close up this particular show.

"We’ve just toured with Rodriguez [at this year’s Bluesfest and his sideshows] and Dan Sultan. We might be an instrumental band but that doesn’t mean we reject singers as such. We actually quite like singers."

"I don’t think Bert wants to stand still. I think he likes being contemporary – and he’s certainly incredibly well preserved."

The final poem’s a bit scary though, so be prepared to mind-screen Alien!

The Break might be seriously good, but they don’t want you to take them too seriously, thus Space Farm is a brilliantly fun piece of work.
