In the end, a perfunctory set – all the pieces are in place, yet something is still missing tonight, which is a shame.

Instead, their comfortable stage presence and genuine enthusiasm, not to mention serious volume, has everyone in the room excited about just how far Songs will go in 2013 and beyond.

Malabar, whilst more adventurous and confident than Songs, still suffers from not being wholly cohesive as an album.

They have produced a rich, spellbinding record, tinged with a classic Australian sound.
