New Music: Sans Parents - Coming Back To You
Sans Parents are the merging of former Hungry Kids of Hungary members with an Andy Bull collaborator.. Sans Parents are the new kids on the block; made up of two former Hungry Kids Of Hungary members - Kane Mazlin, Ryan Strathie - and an Andy Bull collaborator, Alex Bennison. Their debut single Coming Back To You is a snappy piece of garage pop and with aggressive guitar licks laced throughout the track it sees the energy maintained. And the smooth vocal hook it features sees it become something that will stand out. Coming Back You is the first single off a nearly completed but yet unamed album and 2015 shows are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.  Follow Sans Parents: FACEBOOK

Andy Bull Tour Reflections: Week 1
Andy Bull gets us up to speed halfway into his Sea Of Approval tour.. Currently touring his new album Sea Of Approval, Andy Bull has taken to little bit of downtime he had last week to give us a few things he's learnt over the past few shows. For the remaining tour dates, click HERE. 1. Steely Dan I never really understood the appeal of Steely Dan. I mean, I thought I got the basic gist but couldn’t imagine a setting wherein I would really get into it. But this is what i’ve learned: the perfect time to listen to Steely Dan’s Aja record and also Donald Fagen's solo album The Nightfly, is between the hours of 1am and 5am, driving from Canberra to Sydney. Why? Well, in the case on Nightfly, it's about a lonely, sort of passive aggressive dude named Lester who works the graveyard shift at W-JAZ (…"with jazz and conversation from the foot of Mount Belzoni”) and somehow you can relate to his plight. Further to this, at that late night time, it helps to have music that is easy to listen to, b

Andy Bull - Talk Too Much (Ribongia Remix)
Time to start keeping an ear on Sydney's Ribongia.. Following some props from the likely Indian Summer lads over at STONEY ROADS, and Dom Alessio jumping on board this week, it's definitely time to get acquainted with Sydney producer Ribongia. He's been making music for a couple of years now, but it feels like in 2014 he's really starting to flex his muscle. First was the release of Slave Trade about a month ago (listen HERE), and now this weird tropical banger take on Andy Bull's Talk Too Much. It might take you a second to get your head around the intro, but once it gets into its kinda-Jersey kinda something-else-entirely rhythm, it feels fresh, and you can't help but tap your feet. Weird name, weird tunes, good stuff - can't wait for more. Follow Ribongia: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Introducing - Angus Dawson
The rise of the singer/songwriter/producer continues with WA's Angus Dawson.. Much like Flume inspired a generation of young beatmakers, 2014 is starting to see those beatmakers put more emphasis on the singer/songwriter aspect of their music, with sonically-pleasing results. WA-based dude Angus Dawson is another on the rise, and he took a bit of time to help you get to know him better.

Andy Bull National Tour
Andy Bull celebrates his new album with a national tour, plus Kilter drops a sweet remix of Talk Too Much.. Andy Bull last week announced his 'Sea Of Approval' national tour, celebrating the release of his much-anticipated second LP of the same name, out via Island Records last Friday. Sea Of Approval is an open and personal body of work - his unique voice and acoustic piano is backed with a myriad synthesizers, samples, glitches and more, with Bull as always playing every and all instrument on the record. Joined on the tour by a full band to help recreate fan faves such as Keep On Running, Baby I Am Nobody Now, and more recently Talk Too Much (check the new video for TTM below), you can catch Andy Bull at one of the following dates, where Sydney legends New Navy will be joining him for a bunch of shows: SUN 07 SEP | THE SPIEGELTENT @ BRISBANE FESTIVAL, BRISBANE QLD (ALL AGES/TICKETS)  THU 11 SEP | TRANSIT BAR, CANBERRA ACT (TICKETS)  FRI 12 SEP | THE CAMBRIDGE, NEWCASTLE NSW w/ New Na
