Emmure () is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, before moving to Queens, New York, the group has released eight albums, with their first public release being a 2006 EP entitled The Complete Guide to Needlework.

Emmure are a band that seem to cop a lot of flak with each album cycle. Whether it be for song titles, lyrics, merch designs or the off/on-stage words of frontman Frankie Palmeri. This year is no different, however this time, the band is more energised and prepared than ever before. With the release of sixth album, 'Eternal Enemies' looming, rhythm guitarist Jesse Ketive talked with Killyourstereo.com about the album, Victory Records and the dream of one day sharing the stage with Slayer.

Arguably one of the world's most notorious bands, New York's Emmure are no doubt a force to be reckoned with. Their fourth album "Speaker Of The Dead" was released in February via Victory Records, and has proved them to be as controversial as ever. With the band's return to Australia just around the corner, we caught up with guitarist Jesse to find out what's up in the world of Emmure.
