Australia's best-looking boy band is finally hitting the road again.. Brisbane four piece Millions are hittin' the old dusty trail over November and December for their For Your Leisure & Pleasure Tour, bringing their swoonworthy brand of indie-pop swagger to a stage near you. They'll be erforming songs from their debut LP, Max Relax, an album spearheaded by juicy first single Clementine, along with a host of other jams like Writing On The Wall and Good Things Never Last. Their live chops will no doubt be in good check, having just completed a national run with label mates Ball Park Music, and they'll be joined by fellow guitar-pop chaps High-tails. Check the dates after the video for Clementine, below. TOUR DATES: FRI 21 NOV – PIRIE SOCIAL CLUB, ADELAIDE SAT 22 NOV – NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB, MELBOURNE SUN 23 NOV – GASOMETER, MELBOURNE (U18) WED 26 NOV – BEACH ROAD HOTEL, BONDI THU 27 NOV – TRANSIT BAR, CANBERRA FRI 28 NOV – RAD, WOLLONGONG SAT 29 NOV – NEWTOWN SOCIAL CLUB, SYDNEY FRI
The Brissy boys set out around the east and south of the nation in November and December
With their (cracking) debut album out, we get nostalgic about MTV Cribs'ing with Millions.. Brissy babes Millions are on the verge of releasing their debut album Max Relax - and following a sneaky advance listen we're bloody stoked for them - so we thought now would be a good time to dig up an old fave from the archives. Back when we went on a Pilerats tour to launch this little project, we not only had the pleasure of watching the guys live, but chilling at their pad, getting the tour, and just generally hanging. A likelier bunch of lads we guarantee you would struggle to find, and we hope this album kills it 'cause it's a bloody ripper (seriously - go buy it HERE). Apologies for the abuse of the word "bloody", this video just feels very Australian. They're playing a few launch shows starting this weekend: Sydney 16 August - GoodGod Small Club Melbourne 21 August - The Worker's Club Brisbane 22 August - Black Bear Lodge Follow Millions: FACEBOOK // WEBSITE
Some more of that old edge wouldn’t have gone astray, but their sound and romantic lyricism has been retained.
