Sydney post-rockers Meniscus are gearing up to release their new album, Refractions, on 21 October but to get fans excited about the release, today they're premiering the video for their lead single, Overhang.

The video is a simple but effective look at the lush soundscape the quartet get lost in while building their sound live, created by Tolmie Macrae and the band's Marty Wong as part of the Tame The Pixels collective.

"The chief concept behind the video is to showcase the live performance aspect of the band, allowing for their overseas followers and people who've never been to their live shows the opportunity to see the performers in action. This also afforded Marty the opportunity to create interesting and eye catching video projection surfaces," the band say.

The video clip premiere also comes with exciting news that Meniscus will be setting off on a three-date east coast tour this November. They'll start the tour in Melbourne on 11 November, before moving onto Sydney on 18 November and Canberra on 19 November. Head to theGuide for further details.
