There’s been a lot of quality triple j Live A Version performance from Perth acts over the past 12 months, but buzz band Methyl Ethel may have just shot to the top of that list.
Gearing up for SXSW, the indie outfit revealed exciting news at the start of the week that they had signed a huge international record deal with 4AD as well as announcing a run of headline dates.
They’ve kept he ball rolling by stopping by the triple j studio to perform new single Twilight Driving and a beautifully reworked version of Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River.
You can catch Methyl Ethel at Panama Festival on Friday 11 March before their headline tour, which kicks off Thursday 14 April at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne.
