More Caligula's Horse More Caligula's Horse

In anticipation of the release of their third LP Bloom this week, Brisbane alt rockers Caligula's Horse are today dropping the new video for their track, Firelight, which we are stoked to premiere today right here at theMusic.com.au.

Showing off its influences of both heavy rock and jazz, this killer track is complemented by the stunning visuals of the clip, complete with sweeping aerial shots as the quintet perform in a lush green forest.

Commenting on the new song, frontman Jim Grey said, "Firelight is dedicated to those we've lost."

"A reminder not to dwell in mourning and melancholy, but to celebrate life in all its fragility. It's a bright and uplifting song, but bittersweet. I look forward to joining with the voices of all our fans when we take this tune on the road!"

Fans can catch Caligula's Horse live in concert starting this week when they hit the road for some shows in support of UK act TesseracT.

Starting off tomorrow night in their hometown at The Zoo, the band will then make their way to Sydney's Factory Theatre on Thursday night, followed by shows at Melbourne's Max Watt's on Friday, Fowler's Live in Adelaide on Saturday and finally the Amplifier Bar in Perth on Sunday.

It will be Aussie concert-goers last chance to see the band before they head to Europe to play a series of shows alongside Norwegian act Shining through to the end of November.

Bloom will be available for purchase this Friday — head to Caligula's Horse official website for more information.
