PREMIERE: Pave Paradise - Forgotten

Nascent Brissy-bred post-metal outfit Pave Paradise may be a relatively unknown quantity in their current state, but its individual parts — Josh Dean, ex-The Ailment, and James Macaulay, ex-The Daylight Curse — arrive on the scene more than well-equipped to swiftly dominate ears and minds with their raucous tunes.

To that end, theMusic.com.au is stoked to be able to help out with the premiere of their debut single and video clip, Forgotten, ahead of its release via Elevnth Records tomorrow, 28 August. Their inaugural track is a frenetic, frantic, power-heavy, raw and yet fundamentally polished and, dare we say it, catchy — not in the way you're thinking, probably — outing, and should do much to raise eyebrows and interest among discerning listeners with a penchant for double bass kicks, breakdowns and low-ass guitar tunings.

Obviously, this is just the beginning for the fledgling Queensland band but, with such a strong start already behind them, it will be genuinely exciting and interesting to see how far they can take things from here.

Once you're done with the clip, head over Facebook-way and swing 'em a Like, and keep your eyes peeled on theGuide and The Music App for future details on when and where you can catch the band in action.
