Rockstar Games have unveiled a new trailer for the remastered next-generation port of last year's acclaimed sandbox masterpiece, GTAV.

And, as with similar previous-gen ports such as Assassin's Creed IV and The Last Of Us, the remastered "definitive" edition of GTAV looks absolutely gorgeous (which is the primary point of these adaptations, since gameplay is mostly unchanged).

"In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions and improvements including new weapons, vehicles and activities, additional wildlife, denser traffic,a new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more," Rockstar said in a statement.

That "much more" includes the addition of 100 new songs across GTAV's in-game radio stations (a massive improvement, as the limited playlists of the previous-gen versions were a regular sticking point despite the game's brilliance), as well as a bit of in-game dosh to splash around if you're prescient and pre-order the game.

It's no stretch to say that the trailer alone has us more than ready to dive straight back into the immersive world of Los Santos (and surrounds) and get re-acquainted with eclectic protagonists Michael, Franklin and Trevor.

The revamped, next-gen (well, current-gen, now) edition of GTAV is all lined up to hit shelves before the year's out — November 18 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners (however, the PC faithful will have to wait until January 27 next year).
