Get up close and personal with the BONJAH boys' band room
Stalwart Melburnian alt-rockers BONJAH stand at the precipice of a massive 20-date tour in celebration of their recent LP release Beautiful Wild — but before the Honey scribes hit the road, theMusic.com.au is thrilled to exclusively bring you the premiere airing of the clip for their rough'n'ready, dirty-rockin' new single Other Side.
The black-and-white band-room clip, shot at the Aviary Studios in Melbourne, serves as an appropriately atmospheric visual complement to the track's driven, emotive and snappily punctuated riffs and refrains, dutifully unified under the grizzled-yet-soulful strains of lead vocalist Glenn Mossop.
Speaking to theMusic.com.au about the clip, Mossop explained: "The new video gives our fans a personal invite to the BONJAH rehearsal studio. We wanted to create something that was just us — raw and with no frills. "We set up some still cameras, strapped a couple of GoPros to our guitars and hit record."
Well, what are you waiting for? Take in the fruit of their labour with the clip for Other Side, above, then check out the Gig Guide or The Music App to find out when you can catch them in the flesh, because, believe us, you'll be wanting to do that if you get the chance.
