Music to let wash over you, and then let seep in.

Tim Bettinson is still at school. That the precocious little fellow makes such soaring and atmospheric synth work that at times is so well beyond his years should inspire or annoy. That he's already learnt some of the sometimes hard-to-grasp art of not needing to fill every silence – such as in the aptly titled Vapour – is to be admired. His treated voice can be both airy and yet carry weight, the careful tip-toe through Flaws is counterpointed with fingerclicks that do give it some extra humanity. Music to let wash over you, and then let seep in.
