"The whole album feels organic and quite nostalgic."

More Tourist More Tourist

London-based producer/songwriter William Phillips (aka Tourist) is kind of an expert when it comes to creating electronic music riffled with layers of sincerity, emotion and depth.

Following the release of three stellar EPs, his debut album U gives us a glimpse into the diversity of his musical talents, from the bubbly, club-friendly, echoing gem Run, to the gentle, dreamy, introspective stunner that is Waves (sampling crashing waves in the intro — from places visited with an ex girlfriend). The whole album feels organic and quite nostalgic. Though U may very well be a reference to a failed relationship, for Tourist, this album is quite the success.
