More Tijuana Cartel More Tijuana Cartel

In the past, Queensland outfit Tijuana Cartel have focused on instrumental dance workouts but this magic carpet ride to the Psychedelicatessan embraces a bright electronic pop sound that's proudly psychedelic hippy.

"Eating the sky with a spoon/Sweeping the stars with a broom," they sing taking their cue from vintage Beatles on Maharishi albeit with big fat electronic beats and bass. Hilariously surreal spoken-word samples from the radio play What's Rangoon To You Is Grafton To Me suggest those mushrooms you bought at the Psychedelicatessan were not chanterelles.
