Two interchangeable cams and a click lock to keep the spring tension in place no matter how long or hard you kick the pedal.

Historically the Pearl Export series has been the #1-selling drum kit of all time, providing drummers with a solid and reliable kit that looked and sounded great for the money. The line was then re-dubbed the Pearl Vision series, the “Export” title lost in the process. Now the Export is back as a new, redesigned kit with enhanced tone, new hardware and improved features. The new Export series features blended shells combining premium poplar and Asian mahogany together for a warm, rich tone. The shells have been put together through Pearl's own “Superior Shell Technology” by choosing the perfect woods, milled to a precise thickness with overlapping seams resulting in amazing tone, projection and resonance.

Other improvement include new low-mass lugs that further enhance resonance, and “Opti-Loc” mounting system that doesn't penetrate the shell, allowing the drum to vibrate freely with greater adjustability and only three points of contact for an incredibly secure mount that doesn't alter tone. All new 830 hardware is now included as well, with three-stage stands that can be set straight to “hide away” or to an angle with new uni-lock tilters to get the exact positioning you require for your cymbals. Also included is a 930 series “Demonator” pedal, which is a cross between the “Demon Drive” and “Eliminator” pedals, and is a single chain drive longboard with a power shifter in the heel plate, two interchangeable cams and a click lock to keep the spring tension in place no matter how long or hard you kick the pedal.

Kits start from $899 for the basic kit and hardware, $1149 with a throne, sticks and cymbals, or for $1249 with the addition of Zildjian Z series cymbals.
