"... There is lots to be excited about, with a handful of slick, likeable tunes underlining this chanteuse's knack for sweet melodies and neat motifs."

More San Mei More San Mei

Pretty, jangly, indie-pop is what you'll get on newcomer San Mei's debut EP.

The blissed-out, fuzzy guitar-driven vibes on first single Rewind garnered the young Gold Coaster some degree of expectation for just what the multi-instrumentalist was capable of. Necessary proves there is lots to be excited about, with a handful of slick, likeable tunes underlining this chanteuse's knack for sweet melodies and neat motifs. The opening title track eases us into a summer daydream with lilting vocals and twangy guitars, Until You Feel Good rocks an interesting Eastern-esque line, and He Doesn't Know ably closes with dreamy, gentle rock.
