"An overflowing selection of frantic, over-hyped bangers that would not be out of place at a Stereosonic Festival."

More Nina Las Vegas More Nina Las Vegas

The long awaited second EP from triple j Mix Up presenter Nina Las Vegas attempts to mould together an eclectic mix of scattered electro beats, neo-pop and happy hardcore chaos.

It's filled with an overflowing selection of frantic, over-hyped bangers that would not be out of place at a Stereosonic Festival. Ezy and Contagious are almost techno-influenced party jams, while the EP's first single Now Or Never endeavours to teleport listeners back to '80s rave days with over-stimulated, juiced up 9000 bpm nonsense, (on crack). The twinkling, almost wistful electro-pop elements in the last track, Right Home, somehow still make the EP worth listening to.
