Fringe: MONSTER

Madam welcomes the crowd into the theatre of MONSTER with eerie eye contact and bone-chilling stories. It’s not much of a cabaret, but Madam puts on an impressive show. There are very real reoccurring themes, confronting issues and displays of raw emotion. It’s a performance lacking any kind of plot that the audience can follow, and what little storyline is given is interrupted by bouts of nonsense. Whilst the performance is beautifully theatrical, Madam leaves the crowd with unanswered questions open to interpretation, the stage looking like a crime scene.
