"Marduk effectively imbue the treacherous filth and inhumane violence of war into their music on 'Frontschwein'."

More Marduk More Marduk

Touted as controversial and unrelenting, Frontschwein is far more the latter than the former.

The only people who’ll listen are black metal fans and there’s nothing here that’ll have them launching a petition to revoke Marduk from existence on Change.org. Contrarily, Marduk effectively imbue the treacherous filth and inhumane violence of war into their music on Frontschwein, a sarcastic taunt used to describe those to be desecrated on the front line in WWI. Wartheland comes through with an enormous lead riff that’s sure to satisfy, while Between The Wolf-Packs clinches a classic riff progression with a symphonic outro.
