Guys were ripping their shirts off – who are we kidding, girls were doing the same – and it was the party to end all parties.

More Major Lazer More Major Lazer

Major Lazer put on an explosive show that shook the Enmore Theatre and had the entire crowd up and twerking like it was nobody's business.
Kick-starting the night was Chicago-based DJ duo Flosstradamus, comprising J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci.) The guys tore up the decks, playing to an already pumping crowd with their mix of EDM, hip hop and R&B that had booties droppin' all over the place. The crowd favourite would have to have been their recently released remix of the Major Lazer hit Original Don, which has already become an Internet sensation.
When Flosstradamus cleared the stage there was a rather long wait, about half an hour or so before the stage was set for Major Lazer. Down on the dance floor, with a totally packed bar line, there was nothing much to do but stand around and wait. So needless to say, the crowd got a little antsy, and when the Major did at last make it onto the stage, the roar from the punters was deafening.
Immediately the entire audience began bustin' out their hottest dance moves as a version of Royals was played. The music was everything that you would expect Major Lazer to bring, with a brilliant set blending EDM with a bit of reggae fusion and a mix of other sounds that give Major Lazer their unique vibe. The tireless energy from the audience was matched effortlessly by the energy on stage to create one of the biggest parties the Enmore Theatre has ever seen.
There was more twerking than you would see in a Miley Cyrus video and enough bootylicious babes shakin' their thang to make even Beyonce proud. Guys were ripping their shirts off – who are we kidding, girls were doing the same – and it was the party to end all parties.
