Album Review: LANY - LANY

The self-titled debut release from American alternative outfit LANY sure is an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. 

From the poetic and romantic Flowers On The Floor, to the soul crushing blow of 13, "half my clothes are at your house / and I don't want them back", there's a real sense of vulnerability within lead singer Paul Klein's sweet and soft vocals. Drenched in layers of synth and deep, punchy beats, LANY is a gut wrenching novel that fills you up and rips you down but you never truly want it to end.
