More Hein Cooper More Hein Cooper

Hein Cooper's debut album demonstrates a remarkably refined artistic progression for someone who released a debut EP only last year.

Cooper has built upon his folk-pop sound to produce a much more self-aware and cohesive record. Earlier single Rusty remains a standout, with Cooper's vocals given plenty of room to breathe, allowing you to appreciate the flow of the lyrics, which rest nicely over the acoustic guitar strums and energetic percussion. The album is filled with contrasts, from the swirling vocal harmonies of Dopamine to the electric beat of The Real, all of which blend seamlessly thanks to some expert production.
